Working closely with senior leadership and external legal advisors, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical compliance frameworks and help ensure the business continues to scale responsibly and sustainably across multiple markets.

The Role
Reporting closely to senior leadership and working alongside external advisors, you will play an important role in overseeing compliance frameworks and identifying legal and operational risks across the organisation.
This is a broad in-house position with exposure to multiple areas of the business including marketing, digital operations, HR processes, product compliance and corporate governance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining risk and compliance frameworks across the business
- Ensuring marketing and consumer law compliance across digital, promotional and advertising activities
- Overseeing privacy, data protection and digital compliance frameworks
- Supporting HR policy and procedural compliance across the employee lifecycle
- Managing product safety and regulatory compliance across international markets
- Maintaining corporate governance policies and enterprise risk processes
- Monitoring customer incident risk and escalation frameworks
- Coordinating with external legal counsel and regulatory advisors where required
This role offers broad exposure to the operational side of a scaling global business and will suit someone who enjoys building systems and managing risk in a practical, commercially focused way.
About You
You will be a capable and commercially minded lawyer with approximately 5-10 PQE, who enjoys working across a variety of legal and compliance matters.
You are likely to have:
- Experience in in-house legal, risk or compliance roles, or strong exposure in private practice
- A good understanding of consumer law, regulatory compliance or governance frameworks
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work across multiple stakeholders and business functions
- A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to managing risk in a commercial environment
