The Role
They’re seeking a motivated Associate with between 3-5 years’ PQE to join their Melbourne Private Advisory team on a full-time basis. This role will see you focusing on wills and estates, specifically in estate planning, estate litigation, and deceased estate administration.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Drafting wills, powers of attorney, and succession strategies for a wide range of clients
- Advising on family and asset structures
- Acting on family provision claims, contested probate matters, and mediations
- Obtaining grants, and liaising with executors and beneficiaries, and overseeing asset distribution
Who I’m Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Between 3-5 years’ experience in a reputable wills and estates practice. Litigation experience will be highly regarded
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with clients
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
- Interest in growing your expertise and contributing to the team
