- No timesheets or billable hours
- Beautiful regional town lifestyle
- Thriving criminal practice + 2x roles
Rare criminal lawyer openings; 2x roles; junior and senior; no billables; commissions paid; thriving practice; awesome principal.
Tired of the city grind, billable-hour culture, and chasing timesheets?
There’s a rare opening in a thriving criminal law practice in Wodonga — a beautiful regional Victorian town with a genuinely relaxed lifestyle and none of the usual big-firm noise.
Two roles:
- Junior lawyer (hungry grads who want to learn will be considered)
- Senior lawyer who can help run the practice
You’ll work alongside — and be mentored by — a leading criminal lawyer with 24 years’ experience. He cut his teeth in London and worked on some of the biggest extradition matters around.
I placed him in his first role when he moved from the UK. We’ve stayed close ever since.
That relationship is why I know this practice inside out and why I’m particular about who I put forward.
The work is busy.
The environment is supportive.
There are no billable hours and no time recording.
Commissions are paid for performance.
If you want quality criminal work, real mentoring, a life outside the office, and a principal who actually backs his people — this is worth a conversation.
