This role presents a significant opportunity for a 2-6 PAE lawyer to join one of Australia’s pre-eminent competition practices.
Role
Working as part of a tight knit team you will be advising clients on a full range of competition regulatory law issues. You will be involved in merger clearance, cartel and anticompetitive conduct investigations and litigation, ACCC immunities, authorisations, and notifications of contracts affecting competition. You will also have the opportunity to work across a number of partners and senior lawyers. Due to this firm’s pre-eminent corporate practice their competition law offering is similarly market leading.
The work includes both transactional/advisory matters and assisting on significant disputes. You will be experienced in the area of Regulatory and Competition law with specific experience in: regulated industries and access work including access agreements, on ACCC mergers, investigations and cartel/competitive issues; legal proceedings under the Competition and Consumer Act.
