Will be an Employment Practices Liability Workplace Lawyer at the Associate level. These roles are open due to growth.
About the roles (two available)
Working with two partners whose practice is in growth mode. One partner has extensive experience working with large, complex and highly regulated organisations. The other partner is an Accredited Specialist in Employment & Industrial Relations and a leading WH&S lawyer.
Advise insurers, financial institutions and government employers on EPL matters, spanning WHS prosecutions, general protections disputes, sexual harassment claims and unfair dismissals. Be involved in wrongful dismissal claims, discrimination claims, handling investigations and grievances, under payment of entitlements or bonuses, breach of employment contract and policies, and work health and safety issues.
You can also utilise your front-end expertise negotiating with unions on issues spanning enterprise bargaining, right of entry and entitlements, drafting employment contracts and policies, and advising on regulatory and compliance issues.
Also conduct investigations regarding employee disputes and grievances, as well as workplace training on topics including employment law, discrimination and work health and safety.
