Skills & responsibilities
You will be an Insurance Regulatory Investigations Lawyer at the 2-4 year level who would like to join an international law firm in Sydney and/or Melbourne.
Your new role
Will see you acting for and advising directors/officers/managers and their insurers in regulatory investigations, regulator-instigated proceedings (including those involving pecuniary penalty provisions, banning orders and other relief) and civil proceedings (including as coverage counsel on securities class actions). Also act for a broad range of professionals (including on instructions from insurers) in the financial lines, property and construction industries, encompassing low value but strategically significant litigation and complex, high value litigation. Other commercial litigation spreads across a range of issues including alleged infringement of intellectual property rights, alleged non-payment of rebates and commissions, enforcement of restraint of trade clauses and wrongful termination allegations.
