This large law firm has one of the best Local Government practices in New South Wales, and has a work-life balance culture.
Your role/duties
This is a career role. You will enjoy this work as it is not easy and can be complex (statutory interpretation and administrative law). As there is a large local Council practice, there is some 70% litigation – Local Court, Court of Appeal and Land & Environment Court (the enforcement matters will be briefed out but the Class 1 and merit appeals, the Partners and Special Counsel run themselves). You will also act for large developers – infrastructure, wind and solar farms.
