Rare career enhancing succession opportunity to join Keypoint as a Consulting Principal. Suited to an ambitious SC/SA litigator in Sydney.
About Keypoint
Established in Australia in 2014 by Keystone Law, a London Stock Exchange-listed law firm of over 400 partners, Keypoint Law is an innovative and award-winning Australian law firm.
With significant market growth and a clear strategy to continue their expansion, Keypoint is a team of over 80 partner-level lawyers providing a comprehensive range of legal services across 26 practice areas from their offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth. The firm’s clients comprise some of Australia’s leading brand names, large corporations and small-to-medium enterprises, through to HNW family offices and private clients.
The firm’s business model has been built from the ground up to deliver traditional, top-tier service in a non-traditional way. The way clients want it and value it.
Keypoint’s focus is on providing top quality, efficient, professional and passionate legal service at pricing which delivers genuine value to clients.
The firm is ranked a top-25 law firm in the Australian Financial Review’s Law Partnership Survey, a survey of the top-50 Australian law firms by partner-level numbers. Their Consulting Principals are regularly ranked by Doyles, Best Lawyers, Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners and, this year, Keypoint is recognised as a finalist in the Australian Law Awards’ “Law Firm of the Year” category, alongside some of the country’s largest law firms.
The Role/Position Overview
The role on offer will appeal to an ambitious SC/SA level litigator who is likely facing road blocks to Partner at their current firm. With experience in general commercial litigation, a focus in insolvency litigation will be ideal. While you may currently only have a small client following you know that in the right environment your networking skills, determination, commercial acumen and ability to build a practice will flourish. There is also the potential to inherit a practice from a retiring Consulting Principal.
With a culture that is free from bureaucracy and politics, Keypoint lawyers can focus on what they are most passionate about – providing outstanding legal services to clients that meet their individual needs.
The Benefits
With the opportunity to earn 70% of your billings, Keypoint offers their lawyers an unrivalled ability to take complete autonomy of their practice and enjoy the financial rewards. Their highly collaborative and flexible approach supports lawyers to work with clients in a way that suits them. Whatever the requirements, their lawyers provide a personal service, tailored to clients’ needs. You can choose to WFH or in the office and you will have all the back office support of a large law firm to support your practice, including departmental support for finance, trust accounting, operations, paralegals, marketing and business development, risk and AML.
